New Year Eve’s Styling With Velvet

Hello Angels

How you all doing?

The beauty of the month of December apart from the winter mornings that finally set in Delhi’s levels of heat and humidity is how high the happy feels are, for everyone. From Christmas Eve & Day to the sheer excitement of getting prepped for New Year’s Eve. The joy that everyone feels is unanimous, and it only gets topped up another notch each year.

This year was definitely one of those blissful years for me that I’m gonna cherish like forever – I started my blog in 2016. That says it all.

Coming to today’s post – I’m seeing a lot more of fashion and the trends that have ruled this year. One fabric that was a favorite among the designers during London and Paris Fashion weeks and has become quiet popular off the runway as well is Velvet. There is no doubt that nothing says luxury and royalty like velvet. With its chic look, it can create a sense of elegance like no other fabric. Whether its a dress, shoes, a bag or even furniture, velvet has reinvented itself again and again over the years. Plain, patterned and printed silk velvets have made a come back in this year’s trends and can be seen all over in stores around the world.

I’m loving velvet on everything and in all forms, be it slip dresses, tops, shoes, bags, jackets, pants, scarves or even accessories. In fact, I’m already eyeing a pair of velvet booties that I spotted recently at a store and I’m pretty excited for this night to doll up and roll in velvet.

I styled my velvet dress with a fur scarf because I’m sure it’s really gonna be chilly at night. Check the pictures below of how to style it.
