Are you familiar with that situation where you have decided to change your outfit for an important event at the last minute, only to realize that you’ll have to think of another one only because you don’t have the right bra for it? Yeah, that one. Let’s be honest, the most spectacular looks can come crashing down without the perfect essential lingerie. This is why I thought of putting together the ultimate bra checklist for you all angels out there.
The T-shirt Bra: T-shirt bras are not a negotiable possession, ladies. They are a must-have for a smooth and seamless look, particularly when you’re wearing thin fabrics or snug fits. These are a daily essential, and one is never enough with these. What more, we don’t see a reason for wanting just one when there is such a wide range of cute prints and colours to choose from.
The Balconette Bra: Balconettes are your sexier wear-everyday bra. They give breasts a natural lift while also creating cleavage, while it’s wide-set straps create a more open neckline. So get all your low-cuts out, the balconette is here to take care of you.
The Push-Up Bra: The Push-Up bra is best friend when you tend to flaunt your cleavage and all that scandal about false advertising is just annoyingly incorrect. I personally don’t find anything wrong with giving the girls a nice little lift.
The Demi Cup: Demi bras might as well be called the balconette’s sister. They have partially cut-away cups that expose the upper portion of your breasts, and are almost always set with wide shoulder straps. It’s just what you need when you’re wearing low-cut, wide scoop or square necklines. And not just that, the demi bra looks gorgeous on, no matter your bra size. Last but no the least – This is what I prefer the most. My 12 out 20 bras are the demi cup ones. Just love them.
The Multi-Wear Bra: Customise your bra straps according to your dress with this fabulous type of bra. It’s a closet essential, with it’s detachable straps that give you a plethora of wear option. The only problem with this bra is getting it off in a hurry. Cross the straps in the back for racerback or halter silhouettes, or wear just one strap for a one-shouldered style. The multi-way bra is a sure shot way to combat the oh-so-common issue of tank tops, halter tops, and other tricky necklines.
The Sports Bra: The sports bra is a fundamental piece that everyone should own – even if you don’t work out. For those days when you don’t want to wear a real bra, but you can’t leave your house bra-less, reach for a sports bra. And it’s one less excuse to worm out of for those rare days where you do decide to work out.
The Strapless Bra: Like, how much can I explain this one? Strapless dresses, teeny tank tops, and anything that’s too tight for a real bra needs a strapless bra.
